Rollingdale Winery is a small farm gate winery located in Lakeview Heights, in West Kelowna. We are 100% family owned and operated. Our focus is on producing fine wines using only premium grapes made from the most conscientiously cultivated vines we can find.
Our wine shop is open right inside our cellar every day.

Rolling vineyards create a picturesque patchwork framed by 360 degree views, a mirrored lake and majestic mountaintops. You will find us on the foot of Boucherie Mountain in West Kelowna B.C. a remnant of a former strato-volcano created nearly 60 million years ago. The volcano once stood at over 2000 meters. Today it stands only at 417 meters in height due to high winds and the years of glacial drift. In the vineyards, we find remnants of rhyolite and andesite rocks. The lands are rich in mineral and organic matters.
Volcanic Hills Estate Winery
The old adage: It all starts in the vineyard. “My father really knows and understands how to grow Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer,” says proprietor Bobby Gidda, “and because our vineyard sites offer near-perfect growing conditions, these varietals have become our flagship wines. Our focus is to produce distinctive, fruit-forward wines by utilizing premium grapes.”
All our wines have the BC VQA Mark of Quality, so you are guaranteed the wine has been produced from 100-percent BC-grown grapes.
One-hundred percent of the grapes used for making Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Rosé, Gamay Noir, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Zweigelt, and Foch are self-rooted, and come from our estate vineyards. Some vineyards are newly planted. The oldest are 40 years old. Currently, we have 68 acres of vineyards in West Kelowna, within 10 kilometers of our winery.
The Hatch
The Hatch is a place where many forms of art come together in celebration. Through our rustic shack, we embrace the eccentricities of grape growing, wine making, living, and drinking with our unconventional, yet extraordinary endeavors.
The half-day tour offers tastings, water, transportation and a guided tour of the wineries, ciderhouse & breweries for $120 per person + tax (minimum 4 people). Tours 10:30 am - 1:30 pm.
